Just finished the first chapter and 1,289 words of my novel that I’m doing for National Novel Writing Month, and have the first three chapters pretty solidly planned out. Compare this to the past few years, where I’d just be sitting down to write and then get distracted by some YouTube video of a hamster on a piano. Progress: Yep, I got it.

Sure, I’m still about 400 words away from the daily goal of 1,666 words (the requirement to complete the challenge is 50,000 words by the end of the month), but I think I can make that up tomorrow. For now, it is time to pass out.

G’night, internet.
